While I was waiting for some pieces to set I played around with the placement of a piece as it has been commented on before that I need to be more adventurous than just placing the pieces on the arms and chest/back.
I placed this leafy branch design on my neck in the centre, and then buttoned my shirt over it. I think it makes a lot of difference when one end of the piece is not visible as where the piece ends is left to the imagination.
It is also worth considering that scarification on the neck would not necessarily come out like this, so it could open these pieces up to people who are already interested in permanent scarification and would like to build on their look.
