Time Management and Scheduling

Over the past three weeks I have really struggled with time management due to not effectively planning my timings on my schedule as was letting myself be a little slack with the amount of work I have been completing on a day to day basis.
On the weeks leading up to the dissertation hand in I had not set aside enough time to effectively finish my dissertation which resulted in not completing all the work I had initially intended to have completed. I was also panicking and trying to arrange work based learning which took up a lot of time, and was very distracting when I was trying to focus on my FMP work.
This then resulted in having a backlog of work after the hand in which then felt like a daunting amount of work so I procrastinated slightly, making matters worse for myself.
I am currently in Devon without internet working on a film for my work based learning which was not in my initial plan and I thought that there would be wifi in my accommodation but there was not even mobile signal so I have been almost off the grid for a week, trying to jot down notes and blog posts to reflect on over the next few days when I am back.
A challenge that I had not quite anticipated was fitting in my work based learning hours around my FMP work. I think I was a little naive when I was initially planning these hours and was not thinking realistically when planning this work in regard to the amount of time some of the preparation for shoots will take up. I also planned on shooting twice a week which is still achievable if I plan effectively and stay on top of all the work. I will be shooting on location and there is no limit to the amount of times I can shoot on location per week, a limitation however being the weather.
I have now booked in my work based learning hours and feel that in doing so have given myself more of a structure to work around, so have re-worked my schedule to cover every day from now until the deadline.
Please note that the more immediate days will have more detail as it is difficult for me to plan the blogs and day to day activities more than 3 weeks in advance.
