This is my initial Mood board for my shoot #1. I collected images from magazines which have inspired my ideas for this shoot.
I have two locations in mind in the New Forest for shooting, and plan to shoot in mid April when the weather is nicer as I would like for it to be sunny so the images can be taken with warm colours in the background. I hope to capture the 'golden hour' in these images too as I feel it gives beautiful light and will really help to create a beautiful, ethereal feel to my images.
I have a car so travelling to the New Forest would not be an issue as I could drive myself, a photographer and two models to the shoot. I will keep the hair and make up simple and natural with earthy tones to ensure that the models are not kept for too long and to ensure we can keep to schedule. I will do the make up in the studios and then apply the pieces on location. I will have products with me so that I can remove and re-attach the pieces if I need to, or change the pieces for different looks.
I will visit the locations a week or so before at the time I plan on shooting to ensure that the lighting will be effective in these locations so that there is no time wasted. In these visits I will take a model with one or two pieces applied and do a mini test shoot to ensure that the pieces will show up with the natural lighting.
I will discuss with the photographer whether extra transportable lighting will be necessary. I plan on shooting over two days to ensure we get enough images and can shoot in a variety of locations as the 'Golden Hour' doesn't last for very long. To ensure we do not miss this time I will aim to be on location at least an hour before so that we can get some images beforehand and shoot right through the sunset.
The styling for this shoot will be quite simplistic with easygoing comfortable clothing which will appeal to those looking to wear the Abbellita pieces to festivals.
